Description
We are seeking performers and a stage manager for an online workshop of a new play for young audiences in development by Laura Michel, titled Bear and Coyote. The play incorporates both Secwepemctsin and English, exploring Secwepemc stories and family love.
Supported by dramaturg Cheyenne Scott, the workshop will take place online on Sept 28th, Sept 29th, and October 4th from 10-3pm PST.
We are seeking artists to play the roles of:
NARRATOR/Seklep (Coyote)
KYE7E (Grandmother)
YOUNGEST (Youngest child (7 years old))
OLDEST (Oldest child (9 year old))
SKWLEQS (Bear)
We are also seeking a workshop stage manager for the same dates.
Rate of Compensation
Daily rate based on CAEA's DOT agreement.
