Theatre Aquarius’ Artistic Director, Mary Francis Moore, would like to invite artists to our 2026 General Auditions.

In attendance: Mary Francis Moore, Artistic Director, Robin Calvert, Apprentice Artistic Director, Patrick Bowman, Accompanist (Tuesday, March 3), Shane O’Regan, Accompanist (Wednesday, March 4)

Theatre Aquarius is an A house regional theatre and works with the Professional Association of Canadian Theatres and the Canadian Actor’s Equity Association. Priority will be given to Equity members. Please note that only those artists who are selected to audition will be contacted to set up an audition time.

Auditions will be in-person, in a space that is accessible and free of physical barriers.

Non-Music Theatre Auditions: Please prepare a contemporary monologue (approx. 2-3 minutes in length), or a story or spoken word piece.

Music Theatre Auditions: Please prepare one contemporary musical theatre song (approx. 32 bar cut) that shows your range as an actor and as a vocalist or an approx. 32 bar cut of a song that has personal meaning to you. If you play any instruments, you are invited to play/accompany yourself. 

This is your opportunity to really showcase your creativity and your strengths as a performer – we want to get to know you, on your own terms.

Please note, we are happy to hear your audition pieces in the language of your choice.
